World Snake Day | July 16 🌿
Snakes are one of nature’s most valuable creations. Sadly, many are killed out of fear as soon as they are seen, even though India is home to more than 320 snake species, and only around 60 of them are venomous. Most snakes are shy, avoid human contact, and do not attack unless threatened.
Snakes are true friends of farmers. By controlling rodents and other crop-damaging pests, they help protect agriculture and play a vital role in maintaining the food chain and the ecological balance of nature. A healthy ecosystem is impossible without these silent guardians.

On this World Snake Day, let us replace fear with knowledge and myths with science.
Don’t kill snakes. Protect them. Protect nature.
